State Bank of Pakistan Merit Scholarship Scheme 2017-18 for Children of SBP s Serving / Retired / Deceased Employees

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) offers financial assistance by way of Merit Scholarship to the talented and meritorious children of its serving/ retired/ deceased employees who are pursuing their studies at Intermediate, Graduation and Post Graduation levels.
Applications for grant of scholarships under Merit Scholarship Scheme 2017-18 are invited from the serving & retired employees as well as spouse/ family of the deceased employees of SBP on the prescribed form for award of scholarship to their eligible children.

Eligibility for SBP Merit Scholarship

1. Employees' Eligibility:
The children of all SBP employees (serving / retired / deceased), up to OG-2 level, may be eligible under the scheme.
2. Courses and subjects:
All disciplines for intermediate, graduation, post graduation and diplomas (duration minimum 6 months).
3. Educational Institutions:
The award of scholarships will be considered for only those students who have taken admission in Universities / Degree Awarding Institutions (DAIs) /Technical Training Institutes duly recognized by relevant authority / body (HEC, IBCC, NAVTCC, PEC, PMDC, TEVTA, etc. )

Interested employees of SBP or their spouse (in case of deceased employee) whose children meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria may submit their applications to the Sr. Joint Director, Human Resources Department, State Bank of Pakistan, I. I. Chundrigar Road, Karachi-74000 latest by March 20, 2018. Application Forms may be downloaded from SBP website (www.sbp.org.pk) or obtained from Education Expenses Unit, HRD (10th Floor).
