PHEC Split PhD Scholarship Pogramme - University of Education, Lahore
The Punjab Higher Education Commission and University of Education, Lahore have jointly launched Split PhD Scholarship Program for teaching faculty of public sector colleges and universities Three (03) fully-funded Split PhD scholarships are available to the candidates who shall secure admission in PhD (Education) in University of Education, Lahore. The scholarship will cover monthly stipend, tuition fee of two years' study in University of Education, Lahore and one year at a partner foreign university, expenses on research, return air-fare, research grant and medical allowance. The PhD Education Programme focuses on extending knowledge and research expertise of PhD scholars through scientific inquiry. It is designed for individuals, who have the intellectual capacity for advanced qualitative as well as quantitative research and who wish to contribute to future development of Education as a discipline. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
MPhil / MS degree in Education or equivalent. * Minimum CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 in semester system or 1st Division in annual system * Be a regular faculty member of public sector university/college in Punjab; domiciled from any district of Punjab. * Have a minimum 03 years of experience as a permanent /regular faculty member. * Full time study leave to attend the Split PhD Scholarship Program for whole duration of PhD is Mandatory. * Be less than 45 years of age on the closing date of advertisement. * Have a strong research proposal relevant to the needs of Pakistan in general and/or to Punjab province specifically. * Fulfill other admission requirements as mentioned in the Rules and Regulations for PhD.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
The Departmental Admission Committee after the interview of candidates' shall make its recommendations to the Joint PhD Scholarship Committee for consideration. The Joint Committee shall submit its recommendations to PHEC for approval of the award of Split PhD
