INDIGENOUS / OVERSEAS/ SPLIT PhD SCHOLARSHIPS
The SBB,. SBA invites applications for award of full PhD scholarships (Foreign, Split and Local) under the project establishment of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University' Shaheed Benazirabad (sponsored by HEC) from the candidates of domicile of Province of Sindh in the following:

1. Computer Science / Information Technologies
2. Mass Communication / Media Studies
3. Business Administration
4. Statistic
5. Mathematics
6. Physics
7. Commerce
8. English
9. Education
10. Zoology
11. Botany
12. Pak Studies
13. Chemistry
14. Economics

Eligibility Criteria:
Awarded after 16 years of education in the relevant field of study. 18 years of education will be preferred
No 3rd division in the academic career with not less than 50% marks in the entire academic career will be allowed from HEC recognized University/ Institution.
GRE/ GAT with minimum 50% scores is must.
Maximum age should be 35 years Age can be relaxed upto 40 years only for regular employees of the Public sector universities and R&D institutions
Candidates already availing HEC, university or any other scholarship shall not be eligible

How to apply.
Application Form shall be available n the office of the Registrar. Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University. Shaheed Benazirabad wef 25.02.2016 or the same can be downloaded from the website www.sbbusba.edu.pk and submitted alongwith demand draft/ pay order of Rs 1000/- in the name of Director Finance SBBU, SBA as processing fee. Separate application(s) for each scholarship completed in all respects must reach the office of Registrar latest by 25-03-2016

Selection Procedure:
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA-DA will be allowed.
Visa arrangements will also be responsibility of the selected candidates.
The selected scholar(s) will be allowed to lower tuition fee countries.
The university reserves the rights not to consider any application or withdraw from any area of study without giving any reason
Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
Awardees must serve SBBU, SBA for at least 5 years after completion of the studies and will have to execute a surety bond in this regard
In-service candidates working in government, semi-government and autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel Advance copies will be entertained However, the NOC from the organization must be provided on or before the interview
