Foreign Ph.D Scholarships under Faculty Development Program
Applications are invited from outstanding Pakistani nationals for the award of Ph.D scholarships preferably at the top 500 Universities of the World in the fields mentioned below. The selection of the candidates will be made purely on merit considering their academic achievements. The scholarship awardee will be required to serve National Textile University, Faisalabad as faculty member for the period of minimum 5-years after the completion of Ph.D.
- Yarn Manufacturing (Spinning)
- Polymer Engineering
- Fabric Manufacturing (Weaving)
- Textile Management
- Knitting
- Textile & Apparel Design
- Garment Manufacturing
All scholarships will be awarded on the basis of open merit. Candidate must have a final degree in the relevant field of study. Candidates will have to seek admission in top 500 foreign universities (preferably) by fulfilling the admission requirements of the host university. The applicants are required to indicate the disciplines of the scholarship program on the envelope.
After the selection, the final grant of the scholarship shall be subject to the
confirmation of admission of the candidate in the foreign university.
Only short listed candidates will be called for interviews.
Awardee will have to execute a bond to serve in the NTU Faisalabad for a minimum period of five years after completion of Ph.D study.
NTU reserves the right to select or reject applications on the basis of selection criteria approved by University Scholarship Management Committee (USMC).
In case of any omission/misrepresentation. NTU will not be responsible and reserves the right to reject the application at any stage.
