Notification of New Basic Pay Scales & Allowances of Government Civil Servants 2017
The President of Pakistan has been pleased to sanction the revision of Basic Pay Scale & Allowances with effect from 1st July, 2017 for the civil employees of Federal Government. In compliance of the sanction, Government of Pakistan, Finance Division, Islamabad has revised Basic Pay Scales and Allowances of Civil Servants by issuing a notification dated 03.07.2017.
Now, the Basic Pay Scale - 2017 will replace the Basic Pay Scale - 2016 and all government civil servants will get raise in their salary with effect from 01.07.2017.
As per notification, the Adhoc Relief Allowance - 2016 shall stand frozen and another Ad-hoc Relief Allowance - 2017 @ 10% of the running basic pay of BPS-2017 has been allowed to the civil employees of the Federal Government as well as civilians paid out of Defence estimates including contingent paid staff and contract employees employed against civil posts in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms and conditions of contract appointment with effect from 01.07.2017 till further orders.
Orderly Allowance for BPS-20 to BPS-22 has also been revised as follow:
Old Rate: Rs.12,000/- per month | Revised Rate Rs.14,000/- per month
