HEC stops recognition/attestation of subsequent 2-Year B-Tech degrees

ATTENTION: Parents, Students & Degree Awarding Institutions

It is for information of all the stakeholders including parents, students and degree awarding institutions that any enrollment in 2-Year B-Tech Programmes, both B-Tech (Pass) and B-Tech (Hons), after Fall-2014 sessions will not be recognized and subsequently degrees awarded for those enrollments will not be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
It has already been communicated to all the degree awarding institutions that HEC will not recognize degrees of 2-Year B-Tech Programmes of those candidates that are enrolled from Spring-2015 and onwards in these degree programmes. HEC has also intimated the degree awarding institutions not to offer the 2-Year B-Tech Programmes from Spring-2015.
