Responsibilities:
The Research Assistants will work with principal investigators and support various studies with focus on the key thematic areas including: Population Health; Reproductive, Maternal; Newborn and Child Health; Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health; Communicable and Non-Communicable Diseases; Nutrition; and Mental Health.
The appointee will be involved in;
Screen and recruit study participants,
Schedule clients for appointment and notify them in a timely manner
Obtain anthropometric measurements
Collect, compile, enter, clean, process and analyze data
Transcribe recorded audio interviews to word documents
File and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Nursing, Public Health, Psychology, Medical Psychology & Clinical Medicine from an accredited institution
Valid registration by the relevant body
1 year of continuous clinical experience
Excellent communication skills in both writing & speaking English and Kiswahili
Ability to work under minimum supervision
