Job Description

The job holder is required to support CLT Head in organising, administering and managing CLT events, both in-person and online/blended modes with focus on excellence. The position will also entail the execution of operational, coordination and logistical tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the Center.

Position Requirements:
18 years of education (MPhil or MS or Masters) in any discipline with appropriate skill set and experience will be preferred.
The pay will be commensurate with the applicants experience and qualifications.

Communication Skills:
Excellent in verbal, and written communication in English Computer Skills
Excellent in basic computing applications like MS office, and usage of basic office equipment (printer, scanner, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of using popular computing applications/ platforms: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom/Skype/MS Teams, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides

Administrative Skills:
- Strong Managerial and Organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines and to manage time
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Confidence & on the feet decision-making
- Good problem solving and analytical skills

Knowledge:
- Of the field of education and knowledge of faculty professional development in higher education will be desirable
- Eager and willingness to learn about new platforms and tools for CLT work

Responsibilities

General:
- Assist the Head CLT to support the faculty professional development process at CLT
- Work with Head to develop the managerial plan/required resources for the Center
- Plan and draft the monthly, yearly schedule of activities
- Task Delegation to junior staff if required

Administration:
- Administer, co-ordinate, manage and monitor all CLT events and activities
- Work with the head CLT to improve office operations and SoPs
- Manage office operations and logistical tasks as directed by the department Head
- Making sure the maintenance of office equipment
- Draft the CLT budget and maintain the financial records
- Appropriate record keeping of the online documents and hard copies as needed
- Ensure appropriate certification to participants and experts

Communication & Coordination:
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact for faculty related correspondence, including Chairpersons and Deans
- Timely communication about CLT activities across campus
- Ensure registrations
- Provide necessary information/technical support to the resource person for the related activity
- Cross-functional coordination with, among others, Information Technology Services, Events, Library, Quality Enhancement Cell, Academic Office, Communication, Human Resources and Vice Rector Office
Maintaining CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Database and Data Analyses

- Ensure the maintenance of database for CPD Hours by individual faculty, departments, activity type, hours, name of the session and expert
- Administer, monitor, compile and analyse survey and feedback forms

Reporting:
- Prepare Reports for the monthly CLT Activities - sessions and participation numbers
- Prepare the CLT Year in Review and report it to the Head CLT
- Finalize tabulated info of CPD hours by both CLT and non-CLT activities as recorded

Additional Technical/ Computer related (preferred):
- Editing the Session Videos
- Uploading Session Videos on YouTube
- Designing Backdrops for different sessions
- Designing Flyers for different activities
