The primary responsibility of this position is to raise funds from Corporations and Foundations by increasing the visibility of Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) in the corporate community of Pakistan. This is accomplished through identifying, cultivating, soliciting, stewarding corporate and private foundations, as well as businesses. Developing strategies, fundraising initiatives and personal visits to key leaders in corporate and private foundations is essential for the success of the Deputy Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations.
Minimum Education and Experience:
16 years equivalent education with 6 years relevant work experience
18 years equivalent education with 4 years relevant work experience
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communications skills; experienced public speaker, English language, grammar, composition, spelling and punctuation, business correspondence formats, telephone etiquette and filing principles.
Ability to work with a variety of peers and supervisors. Should be an excellent team player.
Ability to work effectively as a team leader, as well as independently; ability to train, inspire, and motivate colleagues.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to coordinate and travel independently for inter and intra city meetings with prospects.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to the following):
Meet or exceed the corporate relations fundraising targets by designing, implementing and managing a comprehensive proactive cultivation plan focused on expanding and enhancing corporate relations to obtain corporate and foundation support for the initiatives of FCCU (scholarships, endowment fund, capital projects, and events).
Work closely with Alumni Affairs, Annual Fund, Major Gifts and other university leaders to build awareness among corporations and foundations in order to build and expand positive fundraising relations.
Initiate opportunities for FCCU Executive staff and Academic leadership to interact with corporate and foundation prospects, interpreting the interest the prospects may have in the strategic initiatives of Forman Christian College (A Chartered University).
Collaborate directly with fundraisers within the Advancement Office, Executive Staff, Academic leadership, and faculty to develop new approaches in building or strengthening relationships with corporations and foundations in an effort to initiate the cultivation process.
Manage the organization's grant portfolio that includes planning, implementing, maintaining and evaluating grants within the context of sustaining organization and program operations
Collaborate with administration and team members to research new grant opportunities, prepare and submit grant proposals, attend bidder conferences and funding presentations, and monitor grant reporting requirements to ensure that stated outcomes are met.
Maintain a vigorous corporate contact schedule with corporate and foundation representatives to create moves management plans, compelling presentations and fundraising proposals.
Maintain a high-quality stewardship process for active corporate prospects and donors, making sure that stewardship and reporting requirements are met to sustain successful partnerships by keeping the Donor Relations Officer in the loop.
The Donor Relations Officer will be requested for facilitation on any donor requests for information or other queries.
Maintain detailed reports of solicitation activities.
Coordinate with Student Activities Office for support and coordination during students societies' events.
Maintain documentation on all types of corporate and foundation gifts to FCC, including gifts-in-kind and who the recipients were that received the non-monetary gifts.
Assign value to all gifts-in-kind and maintain hardcopy records.
Keep a corporate contact sheet on each prospect or donor to provide accurate reporting of funds raised from each corporation/foundation.
Plan and implement a corporate giving program that supports the mission and fundraising goals of FCC, including working closely with other colleagues and leaders of FC College.
Implement an effective acknowledgement program working closely with the Donor Relations Officer & Head of Advancement.
Maintain a professional working relationship within the corporate community, remembering to represent Forman Christian College at the highest level of professionalism.
Assist with events sponsored by the Advancement Office, including working on evenings and weekends if the need arises.
Enhance and expand our alumni discount portfolios and other corporate benefits on our alumni card.
Ensure proactive coordination with key relevant departments such as Career Services, Purchase Office, Finance and Accounts and the Business Department.
Meet sponsorship requirements raised by the Advancement and Alumni Office as well as other departments within FCCU.
Assist with the social media, publications and marketing portfolio of the department.
Assist with any other department duties as assigned by the Head of Advancement.
