Position Requirements:
Minimum Education: MS in Clinical Psychology from an HEC recognized University
Minimum Experience: Candidates with prior work experience will be preferred
Competencies:
Proficient in English and Urdu languages
Good interpersonal skills
Understands, appreciates and demonstrates ethics in Clinical psychology
Demonstrates managing skills to lead reporting staff members as a teamwork
Able to deal with emergencies in a calm manner
Basic MS Office skills, Excel, and internet browsing etc.
Possesses good knowledge of clinical psychology
Promotes Psychological Services of TSA to others and network with other related organizations
Plans training, research and actual clinical works annually and evaluates those activities
Job Purpose/Summary:
The administrator of Psychological Services Center will be responsible for the following duties
-overseeing the day-to-day operations of the center,
-supervising the work of the trainee clinical psychologists,
-schedules appointments and oversees the assessment, diagnosis and management of the clients,
-training the staff and the professionals at the center and the special education facility,
-supervising and doing annual appraisals of the staff and professionals,
-making arrangements for the outreach trips and acts as a bridge between the management and the staff.
Responsibilities:
Trains and supervises the staff, ongoing training and development of the staff and professionals
Manages emergencies
Prioritizes, schedules and confirms counseling appointments
Ensures quality treatment
Schedules weekly departmental meetings, sets meeting agenda and disseminates record of each meeting
Works on the website of the Psychological services center
Replies to the queries generated on the website
Oversees the production and editing of mental health related literature
Acts as a bridge between the staff and the administration
Does the annual appraisals of the staff and the professionals and presents them to the CEO
Prepares a report for the the BOD and may be asked to present it too.
Is the primary supervisor of the trainees who come for training
Creates and maintains records for the departmental budget
Records and maintains the office supplies
Arranges Mental health outreach trips and makes a report
