Job Description

The administrative assistant is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Student Affairs Office and for the CSLO's and CSSO's schedules and correspondence. The administrative assistant is responsible for maintaining a welcoming and helpful environment for those needing to meet with or get assistance from the CSLO or CSSO.

Position requirements:

Minimum Education & Experience:
14 years equivalent education with 3 years relevant work experience
16 years equivalent education with preferably some relevant experience

Skills:
Have good speaking and writing skills in English and in Urdu
Be well organized and attentive to detail
Be able to maintain confidences
Work well with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures, and ages
Be proficient with information technology
Work well without close supervision

Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise the office routines and workflow in the Student Affairs office.
Keep the appointment calendar of the CSLO and CSSO.
Schedule regular meetings of managers and heads of departments reporting to the CSAO and other meetings as necessary.
Assist with preparations for orientation and graduation
Update and maintain records for student handbook, faculty lists, extensions etc.
Use Microix to order standard office supplies and raise PRs as requested by supervisors
Assist with projects in the student affairs departments
Basic correspondence for the CSLO and CSSO
Other duties as assigned by CSLO and CSSO
