Technician (Electrical) - Karachi, Pakistan

Job Description

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for repair and maintenance of all the electrical installation, electrical systems and equipment under the instructions of electrical supervisor for safe and efficient operations to minimize breakdowns.
Specifically, you will be responsible to:
carry out repair and maintenance of equipment LT & HT Switch gear and ancillaries under the guidance of Supervisor
sssist Supervisor for operational maintenance of Electrical and equipment installations during shifts/general duty
record and monitor voltage and currents of different electrical system for operational reliability
responsible to fill up maintenance work request slips indicating time and material consumed
train and guide associated staff to increase their knowledge and productivity
ensure safety at work in all respects
any other related task as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
Secondary School preferred
Electric Wireman's License is mandatory requirement
5 - 6 years of related work experience
knowledge of Electrical Equipment like LT & HT transformers, switchgears, controls, power distribution systems, lighting systems and ancillaries
extensive knowledge about plant preventive maintenance system
knowledge of operation and maintenance of Electro Mechanical equipment
good written and verbal communication skills in Urdu and English.
