The Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKES,P), an institution of the Aga Khan Development Network, provides educational access to more than 50.000 students with more than 150 schools and 5 hostels. AKES,P Education Office, Gilgit-Baltistan, invites applications from eligible and interested candidates to fill the following position:

Manager Finance - Education Office (Gilgit Baltistan).
The Manager Finance will report to the General Manager of the region and to the CFO at the Central Office on technical matters. He/she will be responsible for financial management (revenues and expenditures), staff management, and resource acquisition inducting preparing and monitoring budgets of all units In GB. Responsibilities will also include ensuring that all financial transactions are properly administered, monitored and recorded, and financial and tax regulations and controls are in place. In addition. the Manager Finance will be responsible for the timely reporting of accounting records to the Central Office, meeting deadlines, and making regular visits to all units. including those in remote areas.
The ideal candidate should have a Masters in Finance with professional qualification of ACCA / ICMA, and have at least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience. The candidate must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication. English language and interpersonal skins.
