Required Storekeeper
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock and materials.
Maintain organized and accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
Store items systematically and safely, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
Prepare and fulfill orders, ensuring items are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and timely.
Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders when inventory runs low.
Conduct regular physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure the storage area is clean, organized, and complies with safety regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Handle returns and manage the proper disposal of damaged or expired items.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Clerk, or in a related role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records.
Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to storage and handling of materials.
Flexibility to work various shifts if required.
