Call Center Job Duties and Responsibilities
Answer all incoming calls
Provide excellent customer service; answer questions and inquiries
Resolve customer complaints and problems; offer possible solutions
Manage call center database; enter new information as necessary
Up-sell accounts when appropriate
Maintain working equipment
Follow company regulations and report malfunctions
Call Center Job Requirements and Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent
Previous experience in a customer support role
High performer with a track record of over-achievement
Strong phone and verbal communication skills including active listening
Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
