Minimum Qualification

As per Punjab Irrigation Department Recruitment Rules, 2019, the minimum qualification required for the posts of ZilladarBS-14, is as under:

Graduation BA/ BSc (2^nd Division) from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission Or BSc Agriculture (2^nd Division) from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

Domicile Eligibility: Only Punjab domiciled candidates can apply.

Age Limit: 31 years (Male), 34 years (Female) and 36 years (Special Person)

One paper MCQ type General Ability Written Test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration comprising Questions relating to General Ability including General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (Ethics for Non-Muslim Candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Skills.

Zilladar Job Description

Zilladar is responsible for collection of revenue of Canal Water usage by the farmers of his area. He is also responsible for resolution of disputes relating to water usage and allied matters of his area of jurisdiction.

Zilladar Salary Package

Salary of Zilladar is equal to Basic Pay Scale 14 along with allowances as admissible to other Punjab Government Employees. An estimated salary of Zilladar is Rs. 28387/- per month including allowances.

Zilladar Promotion / Career Scope

Step 1:Zilladar is eligible for promotion as Deputy Collector in Basic Scale 17 upon passing of a Departmental Examination.

Step 2: Deputy Collector, Basic Scale 17, is eligible for promotion as Canal Collector in Basic Scale 18 after completion of 05 years service.

Step 3: Canal Collector, Basic Scale 18, is eligible for promotion as Collector in Basic Scale 19 on selection cum seniority upon completion of 12 years service in BS 17 and above.
