Salary of Agriculture Officer

Salary of Agriculture Officer is equal to Basic Pay Scale 17 along with allowances as admissible to other Punjab Government Employees.An estimated salary of Agriculture Officer (new recruit), is as follow:

Agriculture Officer will perform the following duties:

Step 1: Agriculture Officers, Basic Scale 17, are eligible for promotion as Assistant Technologist / Assistant Food Technologist/ Assistant Dairy Technologist/ Assistant Cotton Technologist in Basic Scale 18 upon completion of 03 years experience.

Step 2: Assistant Technologist / Assistant Food Technologist/ Assistant Dairy Technologist/ Assistant Cotton Technologist are eligible for promotion as Director (Agriculture)/ Technologist in Basic Scale 19 after completion of 12 years service in BS 17.
