Job Description

We are a reputable and fast-growing shipping company committed to providing reliable and efficient services in the logistics and transportation industry. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR team in managing a wide range of human resources functions, ensuring a smooth and compliant operation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR database, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Support onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing documents, setting up orientations, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Assist in managing employee benefits, including health insurance, leave requests, and other company perks.
- Process payroll data and track employee attendance and working hours.
- Help with the preparation of HR reports and presentations for management.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies, ensuring all HR practices are consistent with regulations.
- Assist with training and development programs for employees, scheduling training sessions, and tracking attendance.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including preparing documents, organizing meetings, and managing HR-related correspondence.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or assistant role, preferably within a shipping or logistics company.
- Strong understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, and employee benefits.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of HR software and databases is a plus.
- High school diploma required; a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
